Through the many sites that CBRE manage, we have been delivering Health Screening to employees at multi-let sites in the north west. We also run weekly Yoga sessions and have delivered 6 week posture awareness programs and mental health & fitness programs.
The team at Deloitte were looking for an after work program that improved health and developed new working relationships. The team put together a health awareness program with the use of initial health screening, followed by a structured running program to develop the teams overall fitness which was found to be great way to break the ice with new working relationships.
After in-depth understanding into staff wellbeing at the current retail store in Manchester City Centre, Selfridges set out to provide to support their staff on human sustainability, they requested from our team to provide better well rounded support for staff across all floors of the store and to cater for a service which improved physical and mental health. The wellbeing team asked UR to create a structured program to work with their staff whom at the time were suffering with lower back pain and posture issues. Along side this the UR Wellbeing team offered an exercise program to boost moral and to increase overall health.
Our educational team and wellbeing lead created a specific workshop to the team of Safety Culture to increase the awareness of nutrition and the benefits of eating a healthy balanced diet for the benefits of greater motivation and improved energy throughout the day. The workshop was tailored around work life performance and getting the most from macronutrients throughout the day to help the team thrive when the pressure was on.
The UR Wellbeing team offered a full holistic service for residents who had just moved into their brand new Phoenix building in Ancoats, Manchester. The team provided healthy cooking classes, online yoga tutorials, weekly classes and discounted rates to our community Hybrid facility. Each new member also received a free booklet on our healthy eating guide and keeping fit at home as a welcome package when they moved into their new home at Capital & Centric.
WATCH HEREWe provided a 6 week service for the team as part of mental health awareness week. We kicked off the health campaign with a number of health related workshops which educated staff on being more physically active and the importance of this when working in a sedentary environments. We combined this with a structured exercise program which supported staff to train anywhere at anytime.
As part of Squire Patton Boggs partnership days, the team at UR Wellbeing were invited to present to a number of businesses on maintaining a healthy balanced diet and the importance of fuelling the body throughout the day. Our Sports nutritionist offered an in-depth discussion on nutrition and performance when competing from a fitness point of view and the comparisons when working on high pressure contracts in work life too.
As part of the UR Wellbeing small business package we offered affordable services for the Staff recruitment team which involved a time to come away from the office and concentrate on personal health. The service involved; team building programs, discounted classes at our Hybrid training facility and health screening for all staff at Staffr.
