A wellbeing lead will support your team to develop a strategy alonsgide the ethos of the organisation.
The team will look into the following:
Understand current offers Look at what wellbeing initiatives, if any, are currently in place. Gather feedback from employees about what they like and what they feel is lacking.
Collect Survey Data Consider conducting anonymous surveys to understand employees’ needs, preferences, and areas of concern regarding their wellbeing.
What do you want to achieve with your wellbeing strategy? Develop a goals strategy which could range from reducing stress levels to improving work-life balance or enhancing physical health.
Align with Business Objectives Ensure that the wellbeing strategy supports the overall goals of the business, such as improving employee retention or boosting productivity.
Identify key areas of focus Physical Health: Consider initiatives like in house classes, gym memberships, fitness challenges, or on-site wellness programs. Mental Wellbeing: Provide access to mental health resources, such as counseling services or workshops on stress management.
DESIGN

REVIEW
The review will be conducted based on the design of the service, where key performance indicators will be addressed by both the wellbeing team and the organisation.
The following approach will be followed:
Questions should cover various aspects, such as program accessibility, relevance, and perceived impact on wellbeing.
Conduct focus groups or interviews for in-depth qualitative insights into employees' thoughts and feelings about the program.
Analyse participation rates in various wellbeing initiatives (e.g., attendance at workshops, usage of mental health resources) to assess engagement levels.
Review existing data from, wellbeing metrics health screening and any related to absenteeism, productivity metrics, employee turnover, and healthcare costs to identify trends and correlations with the wellbeing program.
Synthesise feedback from focus groups and open-ended survey responses to understand employee sentiments and experiences in detail. Identify common themes, concerns, and suggestions for improvement.
Summarise the findings in a clear and concise report, including both quantitative data (charts, graphs) and qualitative insights. Highlight success stories, areas for improvement, and any notable trends or changes in employee wellbeing.
